Hammocks Lend Hang-Time to the Camping Music Festival Scene

Venture beneath the trees and into the aura that surrounds the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park’s Amphitheater Stage (oldtimers still call it the “Mushroom Stage”) and something becomes clear. Cop a hang in someone else’s vacant hammock (Unofficial SOSMP Rule: any open hammock and or festival chair is yours to use until the owner returns), or string up your own, hammocks bring a kind of oneness with the venue.

While we waited for AAA to come unlock the truck so we could fetch the spare RV key inside, we wondered how we could make such a freshman mistake. Hey, stuff happens. RV and Music Festival Footwear: Be good to your dogs

Fashion before practicality?

We can’t stress enough how important cool, comfortable footwear is. While we all want something aesthetically pleasing, durable, and not too expensive, nothing will slow down your groove more than sore, blistered feet caused by stiff, uncomfortable shoes.

Fests tend to be dirty and dusty (anyone who attended Lockn’ 2016 knows that story).  If you throw some rain into the mix (Lockn’ 2015, anyone?), the mess and fun get real!
